Rock Creek Cleaners is a family-owned dry cleaning company founded in 1990 in Hillsboro, Oregon. Since 2004, we have proudly used the GreenEarth Cleaning solution, an environmentally responsible alternative to traditional dry cleaning solvents. About GreenEarth
GreenEarth Cleaning was developed to redefine garment care with a focus on protecting clothing, people, and the environment. Traditional dry cleaning often relies on chemicals such as perchloroethylene (perc) and hydrocarbon solvents, which the EPA classifies as toxic and potentially carcinogenic. GreenEarth was introduced as a safer and more sustainable alternative that delivers professional cleaning results without harsh chemicals.
GreenEarth Cleaning uses pure liquid silicone, a clear, gentle, and odorless solution that is non-toxic, non-hazardous, and EPA-approved. Its base ingredient is derived from sand and naturally breaks down into harmless elements, leaving no toxic residue. This innovative system provides an effective clean while reducing environmental impact and meeting strict safety standards.
The process is hypoallergenic and extremely gentle, making it suitable for people with sensitive skin or allergies. The same silicone base is commonly used in shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and cosmetics. GreenEarth also uses environmentally responsible additives that help protect fabrics while minimizing the risk of skin irritation.
GreenEarth Cleaning is gentle on garments, helping prevent color fading, bleeding, and damage to delicate materials or detailed designs.
